scorceseoncoke: Where to find the book?

Yeah so I have to read  book for English and I am either going to read A Scanner Darkly, Requiem for a Dream, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, or Trainspotting.
Anyone know if there are copies in chain bookstores like Hastings, Half Price Books, or Barnes and Nobles?

Alright. The book is just....amazing. The book and the parts of the film I"ve seen (I"ve yet to see the whole thing) have brought out such emotion in me that nothing else ever has. I couldn't read the book in one sitting, it just ruined my mood whenever I read it for a long period of time. Ruined it because it was so devastating and honest and quite truthfully, I couldn't handle it all in one sitting. Unfortunately, I had started reading it during the week I was prepping for finals. (damn you selby!) When I read the intro from Aronofsky ( I'm sure it was Aronofsky ), and he said how his friend borrowed the book and said it ruined his vacation, I just shrugged it off. But it was so true. It was...amazing. I laughed, I cried. I cried more then I laughed. Did you others get the same reaction? From you're posts, I"m getting the feeling you got a similar reaction?

I'm a newbie and I've seen Requiem for a Dream twice.
Atm, I'm actually writing an article entitled "requiem for a dream vs trainspotting" for my zine.  I'll sound like a complete nerd, but analysing Requiem is pretty neat.
I absolutely agree that it is one of the best movies ever.   I believe the saddest scene is where Marion calls Harry and realises he won't be coming back.
However, my favourite bit in the movie is depicted in my icon.  The music there is beyond amazing and it's so brilliantly filmed.

Anyway, I was wondering whether any of you knew where I could find a bigger version of my icon? I want to put it up in my bedroom.

Not sure if this has been requested recently,
but do any of you know a place I can get good screencaps?
Most importantly, good ones of Jared Leto?
Thanks in advance!

Yesterday night I saw RFAD for the first time, I thought it was a great movie overall. I've never seen anything as graphic or capturing as it is, it's a work of art and I love the soundtrack too. So yeah, I just wanted to say 'Hi'.

Does anyone know if there is an extended version to the song Marlon Wayans is dancing to near the beginning, I know the name of it is Party but I can only find 32 second versions of it.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any of Darron Aronofsky's other films (he is genius), or read any of Selby's other novels.
